The softshell pants you've been looking for

I'm a size Medium in the waist with larger than average thighs and arse. These pants fit perfectly. They are designed for the man who works out, puts on mass in these areas but keeps it off his waist. There is still good space for a CCW to be carried as well.

I've been a customer of Rail Riders who also make good pants but have to say these soft-shells are simply better in many ways. The fabric is on point and the built in gaiters are a nice technical touch.

Great design and comfort!

Good pants, odd sizing

Pants are great, nice weight fabric, good pockets as others have noted. I am a standard 32 size, typically a medium from most providers. On advice from customer service, ordered the small. While the waist fits, its tight across the hips, making the regular hand pockets a bit difficult to zip up, and they bulge out a bit when unzipped. Since the fabric is stretchy, pants are ok to wear. Would give a better rating if Beyond adjusted sizing to more standard sizes, as i feel a medium would be too large and baggy unless you are planning to always layer underneath. length is ok (i am a std 32 inseam) on the small also. Fabric sheds water and wind as advertised. dirt etc washes out readily.

Hard to Tell the Difference

I’ve worn my fair share of Beyond clothing and am a HUGE fan. They’re definitely my favorite/go-to outdoor and tactical gear, with the best feature being that they’re made here in the USA. So when I saw that they came out with this new imported line, I was a little hesitant and apprehensive to be honest. I was concerned that they’d be sacrificing quality to cut costs, however after purchasing these pants, I can assure you that was not the case. These are a spitting image of my all time favorite A5 Rig Light Pant, just a little more civilian friendly without the internal knee pad slots. Finish and quality are identical. Material feels and looks the same side by side. Same YKK zippers and DWR finish, great for walking through morning dew, tromping through the snow, or light rain. They keep wind out, are abrasion resistant, and are killer for all weather, rain or shine depending on layering.

My only complaint and the reason I am leaving 4 instead of 5 stars is the sizing is a bit different than my other pairs of Beyond pants. I’m 5’6” and 150lbs and wear a small in Beyond’s pants so I ordered the same size in these and found them to be a bit longer in the legs and waist. Thankfully I carry AIWB and wear a belt so it feels the waist out a little better.

Other than sizing, I’m looking forward to these performing the same as their US made counterpart.

Satisfied Customer

After having been customer with the original owners, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality, fit and functionality were top notch - some of the best outdoor pants on the market.

As advertised

Great pant- true to size, nicely made, really functional. If you're an adventurer, a good go-to item.
