They're great for hot weather and pack to basically nothing
These are fantastic cold weather pants. The Cordura in the seat and knees is very tough, they will probably last a long time.
I love this thing. I was originally issued one of these but eventually outgrew it. Loved it so much that I bought a larger size out of my own pocket. Looks great, feels great, performs great. If beyond made this same thing in other colors, I’d get one of each!
I like the jacket. It’s definitely warm with the wind stopper material. But 1) not sure how durable it will be since it seems like it might tear if/when I’m walking in brush. 2) It’s also a bit noisier than I was hoping. It’s not loud like crunching leaves but it does produce a little noise when I’m moving bringing sights on target. Definitely more for firearms seasons rather than bow. I’m kind of knit picking because it is a very nice well made jacket, that isn’t bulky under a plate carrier. Definitely can be worn away from the AO on a day to day basis as well.
