Experience breathable warmth from the Bask L1 Pullover, the evolution of thermal base layer tops. Designed with Polartec® Power GridTM, a technical fleece that harnesses excellent moisture wicking properties while providing increased warmth and breathability. Improved fit and comfort is realized with unique shoulder seams shifted away from pack straps and flat seam contoured construction throughout, to minimize bulk. This lightweight pullover base layer provides a minimal design that maximizes human performance.

Polartec® Power Grid™ Fabric

The geometric construction generates targeted touch points for the patented design to manage moisture. The next-to-skin surface absorbs sweat vapor and transfers it outside. Then the outer surface disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation. The grid design also creates open air channels that improve breathability, and reduce fabric mass.

Enhanced Comfort

Flat seam construction minimizes bulk & chafing, while a unique shoulder seam placement makes comfort all day long while wearing a pack. Low bulk heat transfer internal label eliminates additional tags.

Thumb Loop

Slip your sleeves over your wrist for added warmth and comfort. Easily holds sleeves under gloves for seamless coverage.

Comfy and warm - Please SIZE UP!!

This baselayer is super light, yet breathable and warm. I will say and agree with others - size up. I usually wear a medium with some room to spare. I’m skinny 5’10” 140lbs. The medium was way too tight around the shoulder down to the biceps area. I was afraid if I slept and tossed\turned, the shirt would rip as it was stretched out to much in the affected areas. Torso and chest areas were fine. Of course Beyond’s customer support is way above top notch and they uphold excellent service. I exchanged to one size up - Large. This fit PERFECT! Listen to other reviewers - go one size above your usual and you will find it fits just right. Thank you Beyond support team for assisting me with the easy exchange process.

Bad QC, item cam ripped in new packaging.
Seam was not sewn properly.
Replacement process was very easy, and new item came without issues.

Awesome base layer

My military unit purchased these for base layers under drysuits during maritime operations in cold weather.

Yes, we had to size up in tops for most people. The warmth to weight ratio is incredible, I don't know how this fabric does it but it traps body heat very well and wicks away sweat without any stink. We're all extremely happy with them.

Funny fit - sizing up is only half a solution

5'10", 180 lbs, 41" chest and normal shoulders/biceps/forearms (I dont lift weights and dont have bulging shoulders/biceps). I am usually a M in Beyond clothing but sized up to L per the reviews.

The fit is still funny: fine across the lower torso, loose right across my upper chest and neck (to the point that the neck opening sags) but tight across the shoulders, biceps, and upper forearm almost to the point of discomfort in the shoulder/bicep area. The material is a bit stretchy, but not enough so this binding on the upper arms is uncomfortable when reaching (e.g. climbing). Fit is very disappointing IMHO.

So many products seem to have fit issues. You guys need to hire a fit consultant or something. Otherwise products are outstanding material & quality. It pains me to give a poor review

Warmer than it looks!

I don’t often write reviews, but the request came as I was actually wearing the garment. Hmmm. Very lightweight, form fitting, and surprisingly warm. I’ve been using it for padding, and as it’s winter (albeit mild so far) I tried it under a splash jacket. Too warm, ditched the jacket. As temperatures drop I’ll undoubtedly put the jacket back on. Another big plus is how quickly it dries. A winner.
