I originally bought one to use for working out/running when its a bit cooler, but when I opened it and tried it on I fell in love it. They are a very well built and durable stretch pant. The waist band and pocket materials are thicker than what I expected (which I'm happy about). This is not your typically lightweight hike pant. I was so happy with it, I bought 2 more in different colors. I use it to wear around the house and go for walks too. I did a 7 mile hike with them on and the pants were comfortable the entire time and never felt like they were sliding down or becoming loose (note this was with just a small daypack and not with a rucksack on). I didn't even tie the waist cinch. I'm 6'2, 200lbs, athletic build, and the Medium Long size is perfect. Although these pants are currently in the outlet section, I hope Beyond continues to make them.
A little thinner in the arms, but still very warm for fall/spring.
Comfortable, this was a nice base layer on a hike that started off at 34 degrees.
Best outdoor pants in the industry. My only gripe is the materials the pockets are made out of. Very fragile and easily torn.
