Absolute must have for cold weather conditions! I ordered both the S/M and the L/XL sizes.
The S/M is perfect for keeping your face and neck warm during mounted or dismounted movements.
The L/XL size is great for keeping your neck warm while in your bivy. Its loose fit makes it extremely comfortable for this application. My L/XL neck tube lives in my bivy stuff sack year around.
Love the fit. I’m 5’9 and 185lbs, jacket keeps me toasty in these Oklahoma winds and it’s done great in the 20-60 degree weather. Excited to see how it holds up when it gets colder
I’ve got A5, A7, and L8 pants for snow — I love having options. For where I go most of the time, the A5 is actually the best choice (they’re *amazing* as ski pants, surprisingly, with just a base layer, down to -5 C in Niseko, even with lots of time in the snow). The L8 bib is basically overkill unless it’s a lot colder, part of a system, and you’re pretty stationary, so the A7-D is a good happy medium.
