This is a really comfortable jacket. Fits well, feels great and really love the sleek look of it. This is also really warm, with is great because most warm jackets that I have make you appear puffy due to the insulation, but this jackets technology really make it warm to wear.
I have had the opportunity to wear these pants several times now and, for the most part, dig them. I live at 9000' in the mountains of Colorado and spend time in the woods daily. Layered, these pants perform very well on hikes and out processing firewood. However, the tissue thin pockets are confusing. Every stich of these pants seems well thought out with the exception of these laughably bad, weak pockets. I have moved my keys, wallet, and Swiss Army Knife to my jacket pocket as I don't trust that they won't find a hole in the trouser pockets and be lost to the woods forever. Were Beyond Clothing to rethink the material choice, I would likely buy more, but I dont have a lot of confidence in these pants as currently put together.
Overall it is a good jacket, water resistant is great and decent against the wind. But the lack of attention to detail keeps it from being great. It is sized as a stand alone jacket yet it's a L5. When I put it on over my Lochi, or any of my insulated jackets, it's very tight. They should've made the jacket a half size bigger. Yes the cuffs are oddly over sized which I only find as an issue when putting my hands in the jacket pockets. The cuffs are snagging the pocket lining and damaging it. I have only worn it a week. Overall I like the jacket but if I had paid full price and not the outlet price I would be returning it.
I bought this in navy blue. This is my new go-to shirt. It feels soft and cozy next to my skin. It is just the right degree of warmth to wear comfortably in my house (I keep my house cool). I love the adjustable collar/hood. It works like an adjustable gaiter under my jacket and I can easily adjust it while I am walking. When used as a hood, it is very lightweight, but still warm. It also fits nicely under the hood of my raincoat. It washes nicely.
