Very comfortable well made pants. I will be buying more in the future.
This is just to update from my review below based on the M81 pants below. Just wanted to point out some differences between the woodland and multicam pants because there are a few minor differences besides the price. The first is that the multicam pants have a different feeling stretch material it almost feels like the tweeve material in multicam where the woodland have a stiffer less stretchy black cordura feeling material. Second the multicam pants have the stretch material next to the kneepads and the woodland pants have the regular nyco fabric. Third the woodland pants have the black cordura material by the front pockets where the multicam pants have the regular nyco material. Fourth the multicam thigh cargo pockets are held closed by a single wide strip of velcro where the woodland pants are button and velcro. Lastly very minor but the multicam back pocket pulls on the zippers are a little better design especially when wearing gloves. Also I feel like the multicam are larger by a whole size. Both are great pants but I think the multicam are a little more comfortable because of the stretcher material. Also I'm not sure if this was on purpose but the button fly button holes on the multicam pants were not cut large enough for the button to fit through so I had to cut the material a little for them to button up.
I am in love with the fit of these pants, as well as the features. The fact that they come in God's Plaid is a huge bonus.
Wow these are really nice technical pants in an old school nyco and in the best camo pattern (M81). They are cut a bit on the athletic side of things so size up if you plan on using base layers. The workmanship and design are up there on par with the other Gucci gear (along with the price, though coupons exist for Beyond unlike most the others). What set these apart for me was that 1) its available in old school M81, 2) they are in stock for us regular folks (not just the scraps on ebay) and 3) internal adjustable knee pads. I will definitely look at some other Beyond Clothings offerings.
I am ex- SF guy from 1st Group in Ft. Lewis, WA. I'm an avid hiker and outdoor adventurer. I have a good amount of experience with apparel and gear for the military and the outdoors.
The quality of these pants are easily on par with anything Crye or Arctery'x has put out.
The pants are built just as well Arctery'x but at a cheaper price! They are made in America not Canada, El Salvador or Vietnam.
Compared to Crye...... These pants are better built than Crye and don't have all the stray strings hanging off of everything.
I am impressed with Beyond's attention to detail and product quality.
I will purchase more gear from Beyond in the future.
I am proud to support and American Company in Sumner, WA than a company from Canada or Brooklyn, NY
Great JOB guys!
