Built with the innovative Polartec® Alpha® Direct fabric, this jacket is perfect for high-intensity outdoor activities such as hiking, mountaineering, Downhill, and Nordic skiing. The breathable lofted-knit fleece fabric helps to regulate warmth through a wide range of temperatures and environments. The lightweight construction and high compressibility make it ideal for backpackers and travelers alike. The soft, breathable fabric reduces friction while layering under a shell, enabling greater ease of movement. DWR Ripstop hood and shoulder panels add extra warmth and protection against the elements.

Lightweight, breathable, quick drying fabric provides ideal warmth for high output activities such as hiking, backpacking, skiing, biking, and mountaineering. The highly compressible insulation is sustainably produced in the USA from 54% recycled content.

Reinforced Hood and Shoulders

Durable 20 denier ripstop overlay paneling on the hood and shoulders for added functionality with heavy packs. Panels are treated with a sustainable C0 (100% PFC Free) DWR (Durable Water Repellency) to protect from light rain and to retain warmth.

Built for Layering

Can be worn as a stand-alone jacket or used as a force multiplier for warmth when combined with a protective outer wind or rain shell. Reduced friction between layers allows for increased range of mobility.

Cut small, but exchange was easy!

Size descriptions inaccurate. Choose one size larger than chart recommends, unless you want it skin tight. I returned my large for an extra-large and now it fits well. They were great at doing the exchange for the larger size!

Super Comfy

This is a great and comfy mid layer. It works awesome as a wok from home layer since my office in the basement is a bit brisk. It worked awesome as a layer today when I was photographing the town’s Christmas parade. It’s only Achilles heel? Cat claws.

Good lightweight fleece

This is an excellent lightweight and warm fleece jacket. The openness of the weave means that if it's at all windy, it's best to pair it with a shell, but the same openness means that it doesn't trap moisture from sweat. Definitely would recommend.

It doesn’t make sense that a jacket so light, could be so warm and comfortable. Thumb loops would make it perfect
