Great Gear As Always

NW Wyoming gets cold... So far these pants have been my best friend, it's really easy to put them in over anything that I'm wearing before going outside. It's like wearing a coat on your legs. It has really easy to operate zippers, and they feel durable. The waistband is stretchy and comfy. I like the stuff sack that it comes with, and the red color is easy to find in my pack. They also look pretty good when wearing as well. They dry fast, which is good, I usually get some snow from my boots on them when taking them off, but they dry in minutes and return to my day pack. They layer well under the level 8 pants as well. With Beyond clothing I don't feel constricted. I love their whole layering system, it works perfectly together. Everything is very compact and comfortable. When I first got the pants I didn't know how warm they would be, they seemed thinner than I thought they would be, but I have not been disappointed! It's better to have many light, roomy layers than heavy single layers. There is nothing I would change about these pants, they are very functional!

Hook and loop fastener on waist fails - Update

Recently, I gave a 2 start review on the Cetra Durable L7 Pant due to product flaw. Beyond customer service has gone, "beyond", my expectations of support. They replaced the pant and was able to try them out. The temps got down to 22 degrees and I used while more stationary than anything. With a base layer, Jeans and the Cetra Pant as the outer layer, I was comfortable. Overall, the fita and quality is great. Reason for 4 Star is that the leg cuffs could have had more durable as well as the knee area.

Hook and loop fastener on waist fails

It's hard to review a product that you can't fasten up. The hook and loop waist fastener has the same hook side of the fastener on each side. No loop side for it to stay fastener. Reached out to Beyond and was asked to send pictures which I promptly did. No reply back since I sent the picture. I have no problems with the other purchases but this is the first time dealing with the customer service. Hopefully, I can update the review if or when I hear back from the Beyond representative.

Warm with nice features

These pants are thoughtfully designed. The full side zips and generous fit make them easy to layer on without removing boots. Best used with suspenders (not included).

I love this!

I bought this in navy blue. This is my new go-to shirt. It feels soft and cozy next to my skin. It is just the right degree of warmth to wear comfortably in my house (I keep my house cool). I love the adjustable collar/hood. It works like an adjustable gaiter under my jacket and I can easily adjust it while I am walking. When used as a hood, it is very lightweight, but still warm. It also fits nicely under the hood of my raincoat. It washes nicely.

Perfect go to cold weather jacket.

It fits trim on my body (broad shoulder/chest narrow waist), this isn't designed for you to put a bunch of layers over.

It's stylish over a henley and jeans around town.

In the woods/mountains this is meant as an active mid layer, with an oversized puffy in your pack to throw over when you're not moving.

I bought my first Testa in late 2019/early 2020 and it's still going strong, this recent purchase was for backups, I have six now, grey/black/green and a backup for each. Sad that this style seems to be discontinued. I hope whatever replaces it keeps the fit.

It's hard to find clothes that fit my body this well without buying oversized then paying extra to get them tailored. To put it in perspective to anyone still on the fence, I own a couple different versions of arcteryx lvl5's and the Testa is better in fit and construction.

Great for active users

The construction of the gloves seems good. I do worry though about how abrasion-resistant the outer glove is. I find the gloves are a little snug to put on, but once on they fit well, so I'd make sure you measure to determine the correct fit, and don't go up a size. For moderately active days, I find these keep my hands warm when the temps get into the mid 30s. When less active, with wind chills in the low 20s, I found my fingers still got pretty cold.

Love the pants

I really like the feel and build quality of the pants. I wish i would have ordered a size smaller but they are still a great piece of kit. They feel like PJs and I love the pocket placement.
