Crafted to take on some of the nastiest stuff that the polar scene can dish out, the Allta Polar L8 Parka is your suit of armor for the world’s frostiest places. Powerful PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation and carefully mapped ripstop protection keep your heat on lockdown while warding off the elements, and strategic storage keeps necessities close at hand.

Earth-friendly PrimaLoft® Gold Eco Insulation is 55% recycled materials and supports system climate performance down to -70° F. Built to handle moisture, this lightweight synthetic insulation is water resistant, retains heat even if it does get wet, and gets you back to dry faster than down.

A 70-denier micro ripstop shell provides windproof and water-resistant protection while retaining breathability to keep you warm, dry, and sweat-free. Double-layer 40-denier CORDURA® ripstop mapped to key areas minimizes heat loss.

Extend your coverage and warmth even further with the insulated hood, and ensure a just-right fit with the adjustable crown cinch. The ruff liner is fashioned from sustainably sourced Finnish fox fur and can be shaped around the face with an internal wire. Attach or detach it with the integrated zipper for a warm and elegant finishing touch.

Love this coat ! Great for camping in cold weather when you want to sit outside in very cold temps. Surprisingly coat breathes well too if you are moving around. This is definitely a piece of equipment for 30 degrees and below. To be exercising in this thing you would be looking at single digits and below due to its warmth.

Fit is perfect for a parka, can layer underneath without compressing insulation, overlength back is nice. Well thought out and warm. Will work well for winter adventures.

The quality of this jacket is amazing! Blew me away, it's a great deal, and incredibly warm. Has all the features of a propper polar parka, and it's really nice and long. I like the sleeves, I have long arms, and this jacket fits great. It is a comfortable cut, but still has a lot of style. The branding is not over the top excessive, but if they included a velcro patch for with the "Beyond" logo, I would probably rock it, because this jacket and company is that good. I don't normally like endorsing brands, but I can get behind this. The only thing that would make it better is if it had built-in or removable shoulder strap/bungee material that you could put around your shoulders and throw the jacket behind you when it gets too hot. It's a bit cumbersome to carry around, but that's to be expected. The Shoulder straps would make it better and easier to carry - similar to that Swedish brand we all know and loathe. The polar bibs came with similar straps I think. I like the stuff sack, and it compresses down to the size of a small sleeping bag. I wish it came with more instructions on storage, care, etc. But otherwise, this was exactly what I needed and was looking for! Not afraid of the frozen north anymore! It was even comfortable in 50 degree temps and light rain over a flannel shirt. I tried it out last weekend, and my girfriend was freezing at an outdoor event. I gave her my jacket, and she didn't want to give it back to me.

Best winter jacket period

Sooooo damned comfortable. Looks mil, but wears civvy. Blizzards are no match.

Alla Polar L8

Fantastic product, does the job above and beyond. I use it in cold environments below zero and it is comfortable and the best wind/cold protector I have ever worn.
