Trek Glove System

The construction of the gloves seems good. I do worry though about how abrasion-resistant the outer glove is. I find the gloves are a little snug to put on, but once on they fit well, so I'd make sure you measure to determine the correct fit, and don't go up a size. For moderately active days, I find these keep my hands warm when the temps get into the mid 30s. When less active, with wind chills in the low 20s, I found my fingers still got pretty cold.

This is a great system. Incredibly warm and functional.

I bought 3 pairs at discount price since the perceived value was so high. One for me and each of my sons. The concept is great, a thinner glove for dexterity, protection and light warmth. The outer glove adds significant thermal insulation. As would expected, the two glove system is relatively thick so dexterity isn’t the greatest but easily can grap and hold poles and handle general objects but wouldn’t try to manipulate small tools or buttons.switches. During a recent cold weather event, I took an outdoor walk at a park a few miles away. I drive, then trekked the trails. I drove the car both ways with the inner glove which easily handled keys and car controls while protecting from the freezing steering wheel. The outer gloves are easily installed and removed from the inners and kept my hands very warm in the cold, windy weather. I also tried the outer gloves with other thin liners I have and without any liner and they work well. These is a very flexible glove system that packs small. I would be comfortable traveling in many weather conditions with just these gloves, providing I’m not needing very durable gloves (go for the guide gloves for the high abrasion tasks)

Haven't used them much yet. But gave a pair to my ranch hand and he thinks both great.
