Update on the K5 pants: Now, multiple hikes and one hunting trip with the K5.
Durability of the actual pant is solid. The terrain that I have been has been a mix of rocky hills and deciduous forest. I cross few barb wire fences with no snags.
Warmth: When I heat up in these pants I simply use the vents. On the reverse, I was cold one night slept with these on. I closed the vents and became noticeably warmer. The airflow in these pants in think is really the unsung hero.
Wash: I’ll be honest I wear these a lot, simply because they are comfortable. I say this because the pants get washed a lot. The color has stayed true with no shrinkage.
Overall: I was apprehensive to spend the money on these. However, serious adventurers, with monetary capability, should own this pant.
These pants are great! Love the interior fleece lining for when I need a warmer pair of pants. And the fit is great too not slim like so many other pants out there
The insulated pants have heavy, quality fabric. Seem to breathe well too. This is my first purchase from Beyond. Happy to find a quality shop with tall sizes.
The pants seemed to be of durable, high quality material, but the fit was just a bit too baggy for me in the waist and lower legs. If my K5 jacket is any indicator of performance, I have no doubt they would have been great. I just didn't want to take them to a tailor and potentially have the material integrity damaged, so I returned them.
