Very warm, lots of smart features. Zipper goes up and to the right to avoid pressure on the face, pockets jn and outside, and very warm hood. Strong winds seem to penetrate the outer layer more than expected, so know the limits when in windy conditions.
Love the jacket. Live at altitude in Montana and have been out skiing. The jacket works as your description says! Would recommend.
The only negative (minor) is the zipper sticks at the starting insert. I expect that to resolve with more use.
I bought this style of pants in all three colors, it's very comfortable to wear in summer.
Wore mine religiously for years. Until my zipper got stuck on the black side. It has my phone charger in it, but i can’t get it out.
