I’ve got A5, A7, and L8 pants for snow — I love having options. For where I go most of the time, the A5 is actually the best choice (they’re *amazing* as ski pants, surprisingly, with just a base layer, down to -5 C in Niseko, even with lots of time in the snow). The L8 bib is basically overkill unless it’s a lot colder, part of a system, and you’re pretty stationary, so the A7-D is a good happy medium.

It’s lightweight but warm especially putting on a shell outside. Great for outdoor activities and urban areas.
