The A3 Lochi Jacket is designed for active use in cold environments, and is reversible for low-profile use in urban environments. Polartec® Alpha® Insulation transfers moisture away from the body to keep you dry and warm, while the DWR treated nylon ripstop shell protects you from wind and rain. Light, highly compressible, breathable, and fast drying, the A3 Lochi Jacket is a low-profile alternative to our A3 Alpha Jacket.

Great + poor

Great product in terms of fit, function, and pocketing. Love it. The stitching is terrible though. I've only had the jacket for a few months and with light wear there are numerous runs in the stitching, threads hanging everywhere. I had to use outdoor tape to patch up all the spots and stop the runs, and I anticipate there will be more down the road. Not something you would expect for a product of this nature and this price, or any insulated jacket for that matter. Keep making stuff in the USA, but please improve your production processes. Sidenote: I have the same issue with a pair of Beyond pants, only worn them a few times and they have runs everywhere. Not cool.

A3 - Alpha Lochi Jacket

Dynamite jacket with good warmth. 6'1/180lbs and the large is a good fit with a little room for laying underneath if needed.

Very comfortable

Questionable threading

I had purchased one of these black with woodland, once received noticed it was threading is several spots. I emailed to discuss, they sent another one while I sent the first one back. Second one came in and was also threading. I wear this jacket as a normal person wears a traditional jacket. It is not a hard worked jacket. I have another item which is phenomenal, made in Bangladesh. Curious why the threading is a recurring issue on a lightly used item.
