Amazing shell jacket

Quality is impressive considering this is not a $400 jacket, but $229... i own arcteryx shells and this one gives me confidence in heavy rain that ones double their price dont give me... i just wish is wasnt that long (height wise), but other than that, buy it! Im considering buying a size S so i can run it with 1-2 layers only (35-60F)

Good quality and very lightweight. Works great with a polartec alpha jacket for winter or just keeping the wind or rain off you. The zippers are good and definitely water tight so a tad stiff when using but worth it. Not as loud as some I’ve used but still noisy. Probably not going to be very sneaky running around in the woods with it. Great jacket and love then weight

Nice Jacket

I ordered a size medium based on their sizing guide. I'm 5'6" 180 the arms are a little long but everywhere else it fits perfectly. I can easily fit a sweatshirt and an additional layer underneath. Now things I think they can improve on. The chest pocket is very small they could make it a little larger and same with the side pockets. Also adding interior hoops to clip your keys or valuables inside the pockets would be a plus. Finally they could've made the velcro a little longer on the cuffs for a tighter fight when not having layers underneath. Overall it's a great lightweight jacket just needs a little tweaking.

Great for when weather has a mind of its own

Took this with me on a 4 day venture that got down to -20f windchill in Virginia this past month, and it did a great job keeping me dry. Like all waterproof membranes, it is not ideal for active use at high output levels. That said, it was cold enough that I didn't sweat. I ordered true to size and was able to easily fit an anchor belay, along with a standard mil-issue grid fleece (and later also a rather bulky down vest) underneath. In terms of kit integration, it worked great with a bump + pvs14 thanks to the large hood, and a chest rig worked fine overtop when layered. No issues with abrasion from a heavy pack either after about 80 miles. The material seems very high quality, and it has the same construction I would expect from this company (AKA amazing). I have been putting the newer beyond gear through the ringer this past couple of years and have yet to be disappointed.

Added a couple pictures with the Drilight and the Anchor Belay from the trip.
