Perfect fit, supple yet tough

These gloves are great for the shoulder season in the Colorado mountains. Grip and mobility are better than the other brand’s pair I replaced.

My hands are usually between a medium and a large when it comes to gloves. I size down when i want dexterity and i size up when I want warmth. I sized down on these. Of love the dexterity in the fingertips. I’m capable of small tasks like opening a can of sparkling water. Haven’t used them for much more than driving, building fires and some yard work. They look great and feel great. The opening is a very snug fit getting the glove on and off but I’m expecting the leather to stretch as they wear in making this easier.

I have many Beyond Clothing items. They are always designed and made well and if you catch them on sale a good value. I have always rated the cloths, especially their paints 5 stars. They are pretty much all I use in winter for colder weather outdoor use and I also have many of their shorts for summer. However the Guide Lite Gloves could use a redesign. Although I have relativity small hands and ordered the large size that was indicated by the sizing chart these gloves are very small. They are difficult to get on due to the cuff being so small. They also will not allow you to have your wrist watch on, even a small watch like the base Apple Watch. The Guide Lite’s once on offer wind protection but as they have little or no insulation are not warm at all. But they are well made just not very useful as a glove, perhaps for driving to hold a cold steering wheel before it warms up. If you just need a glove for hand protection if you size up they may be ok. However at least for me the fingers are ok in length I just can get may hand through the cuff very easily. I don't use these gloves and will likely give them away to someone else with smaller hands.
