Bought these for winter hiking in the White Mountains. Wool gloves always wear out in the thumb from holding hiking poles so I have been looking for a more durable replacement. Saw these and figured I would take a shot. I’ve used them a couple times now and I have pros and cons to them. The pros: they seem very durable and hopefully will last quite a bit longer than what I have been using. The leather is a nice quality. The cons: similar to other reviews the cuff on these is way too tight and has very little give. My hand measured a medium and the glove fit is good once it’s on but it’s a bit of a struggle to actually put them on. This was kind of annoying when I would take them off for a moment to check a piece of gear and then have to stop just to put the gloves back on. This issue was compounded when my hands were sweaty and wet. Also as mentioned before, I wear a GPS watch and the cuff doesn’t flare out to accommodate that well. I was able to unstrap the glove, pull the cuff partially over the watch, and strap it back more loose. This worked ok, but again was just kind of annoying when I took the gloves off for a moment. As far as the warmth goes, I need more time with them. Took them out in 40 degree weather and my hands got way too hot when moving. Another hike was mid 20 degrees and they performed alright. Hands were pretty cold at first but after moving awhile they warmed up. Having bought these on sale for around $40, I’ll definitely keep them around to keep trying them out. Hoping maybe the cuff will stretch a little over time. If I would have paid the full $70 price I think I would not be as happy.

Second pair of amazing gloves

These gloves are top notch. Soft yet tough, thick but thin enough for good manipulation in cold weather. Had a set and loved em, but they were lost or stolen. So had to buy another pair. If you’re looking for a great all around multi season glove this is it
