Avert™ Integrated Gaiter

Gaiters that are always with you. The revolutionary Avert™ Integrated Gaiter exceeds at keeping snow and gravel out of your boots. Built directly into the cuff of the pants, the low-profile gaiter can be easily deployed under the boot for a secure fit.

Low Bulk Waistband

Flat seam construction, rubberized flexible bar button, webbing belt loops, and flat inner drawstrings all add up to an extremely low-bulk waistband that pairs perfectly with climbing harnesses and backpack hip straps.

Technical 4-Way Stretch

Breathable 4-way stretch fabric provides ultimate mobility and comfort. DWR treatment makes the pants hydrophobic (water resistant) and quick drying.

Too narrow, too long, noisy, returned them!

Let me start by saying I'm a big fan of Beyond clothing, and I own quite a few items, but I was disappointed with these pants. I'm 5'10'' and 165 lbs, and I ordered a 32-inch short, which I've ordered before. The pants were too tight at the calf and an inch longer than my other Beyond pants of the same size! On top of that, they were noisy when I walked. Someone else had made a similar comment:( Sending them back!!

Perfect three-season hiking pant

These are exactly what I was searching for for spring and fall hiking on rugged trails.

They’re alright

You did it

This pant competes with the famous brands (Kuiu, Sitka, and Stone). I used it as a light weight pant and as a base layer during a late season moose trip. The waist band draw string combo work great under a second pair of heavier pants (Velox Light) that are worn with a belt. When they get sweaty on an ascent, the pant wears dry quickly under a top layer. They are just a bit less than quiet.

Quality and features are a 10, but waaaaay too baggy

Versatile, stylish, comfortable

I have been wearing the heck out of this jacket since I first got it. I have had other jackets made with Polartec Alpha in the past, but this one has been superior because the design is better (love the pockets) and the hardware is more robust (great zippers). If I could change one thing, I would choose a quieter face fabric for the reinforced hood and shoulders. The face fabric is very loud in my ears, especially when I have the hood up. I gave this five stars anyway because it just feels so good to wear it. Bottom line - on a recent trip to Minnesota, it is the only jacket I brought.

Good Not Great

Why 4 stars? The narrow leg opening at bottom of legs just doesn't fit my size 12 feet. Otherwise, bullet proof quality.
