I am Josh Tyler, professional fighter and adventurer. For me, fighting is the purest expression of competition and the ultimate test of one’s will against another. But there are other challenges that beckon. Much like fighting, nature can be a formidable foe and an unforgiving teacher. The appeal of both, is that the lessons learned are what forms us into something greater.

I have always been captivated by the idea of rugged individualism. The notion that a man should possess the skills and qualities to fend for himself in any and all situations. Inspired by the writings of Jack London and Ernest Hemingway, this led me to seek ways of challenging myself outside of the cage, into the wild. Along with skills and knowledge, one must have the proper equipment when pushing outside of their comfort zone. Never content to settle for the status quo, I choose to go Beyond.
