A5 - Rig Softshell Jacket - Outlet

Ive had this jacket for two years and I absolutely love it! The jacket is great as a standalone or can be paired with a mid layer. It can run a bit hot especially doing dynamic movements do to lack of pit zips but that can be mitigated through propper layering.

I used it on my deployment to the middle east recently and it was a god send.

I've taken it down as low as mid 20s and had zero issues with the wind getting through. However if your gonna use past that than I would recommend pairing it with an insolation piece.

As far as fit goes the jacket is very form fitting maybe borderline restricting depending on your application but uncomfortable. Sleeves are a bit long but it helps if you plan on using it as a climbing jacket.

All in all it's a great piece of kit that goes every with me anytime the weather is gonna be remotely inclement.

Arms are too long and body a bit slim and I'm a pretty small guy. Other than fit, it a great product.

This is a great jacket for layering or athletic movement while hiking. It reminded me of the USMC Desert Combat Jacket but more appropriate with civilian attire.

This soft shell is really nice how ever I do wish the whole thing was grid fleece not just the neck
As well would be nice if it had pit zip vents but not a deal breaker

Runs small. I'm 6'3 200 lbs and a large long was skin tight. Also, as this is made to be worn over a uniform blouse, it would be smarter if they didn't put fleece inside the sleeves. Just makes it hard to put on. Still, this is a high quality jacket and a nice product.
