Ascent-Glide Pant

Exceptionally easy wearing and highly breathable fabric combined with excellent quality that guarantee no worries on the trail!

I bought a pair over a year ago for a trip to Colorado. I wore them daily for a week and just freshened them up in streams, etc. They worked out so well that I bought another pair and the pants became my daily wear. They finally got black in my size and now I’m waiting on the brown ones. The pants are very comfortable, clean up fast, dry fast, and hold to abuse. I love these!

Bought these to replace my Velox L5 that tore and are no longer in production.

Pros:
- nicely form fitting without restricting
-move extremely well and don’t pinch
-very VERY breathable (pro or con depending)
-material is very lightweight but has been tough
-belt loops are superb
-internal phone storage in front right pocket is the best I have ever used

Cons:
-quite loud, especially if running. just a constant chaffing sound that you do get used to
-not at all a fan of the semi-elastic drawstring; hard to use and gets in the way of zipping the pants up
-the boot hooks cinch way too tight on your ankle to be worth the discomfort
- the front zipper and button seem to be off center? cause weird feeling when wearing a belt
-one single back pocket is strange and unnecessary but not a big deal because front pockets are very good
-i’ve always worn 32 waist and these 32’s are more like 33-34 but I wouldn’t downsize; fits very well with a belt or even the drawstring without squeezing your legs

Overall a great climbing, running, or semi-formal pant if you can deal with the not-too-obnoxious noise. Definitely recommend an elastic belt like an Arcade Atlas (the belt I use).

These pants are better than I had anticipated. The fabric is much more rugged than I thought . I have climbed in these, hiked in these and even flipped a kayak and ended up swimming in these pants, just washed them air dried and they look brand new ! Their cut is athletic and doesn’t leave excess material to snag on things. Good work all the way around

I have three pairs of these pants and I use wear them for working out in the gym, everyday wear. they are exceptionally good for anyone running tools (pistols, blades, etc.) Whether you are running appendix or 3 o'clock carry, the waistband and the material really conceals well and minimizes printing.
The only downsize to the material is thermal tranfers, in colder, windy condition you cooldown quickly, but just offset with a baselayer, which works silky smooth with the pants. Also one more butt pocket would be great.

I like these a lot better than my VENTUM ULTRALIGHT L4 PANT.
