AG23 is a biannual zine collaboration designed to promote understanding through dialogue and art. AG23 was born from a conversation between Rick Elder, Director at Beyond Clothing, and Dan Milnor, Creative Evangelist from Blurb, Inc. The zine is an offset-printed, 2000 copy, 60-page, 6x9, softcover Trade Book with 70#, 105GSM paper and a matte cover wrapped in a protective sleeve. Designed by Zoë Sadokierski, the zine works as a catalyst for ideas, stories and atypical points of view, a non-precious object meant to be consumed, pondered and passed along. AG23 is also delivered online at www.ag23mag.com.
Each article of this zine will open your world, broaden your perspective, and take you places that you may not have ever found on your own. Powerful photographs paired fine writing bring corners of our crazy globe to new life and tell parts of the story of our time. It’s well designed, too, with great typography. The slipcover is a sweet little bag — a nice bonus to what’s already a very enriching publication. Looking forward to the next issue.
This is a sweet zine. It defies easy categorization. Can't wait to see what's in the pipeline!
It’s rare to find anything in the digital space that is centrist in nature. Some media outlets with content for contents sake only promote knee jerk reactions as opposed to thoughtful dialogue. AG23 is designed to inspire and provoke thoughtful consideration. This kind of publication is sorely needed in the frenetic world we live in.
Loved reading the zine. Must have read it at least 5 times now.
High quality with excellent content. Thank you to Dan Milnor and the Beyond Team.
