First of all the pants are super-lightweight and very breathable! Barely felt like I was wearing pants at all! They are true to size as well!
When I got the pants I was surprised on light they were and the amount of stretch to them which was why I had purchased based upon the reviews on the pants. I was looking for pants with the pocket lay out (zipper pockets on the front and side) that I can use for hunting up in the mountains (elk, mule deer, bear, etc.) with easy access to items from those pockets as well as pockets on the sides. Inside the side pockets are additional sleeves to help with organization so that items are not moving all over the place when having to scramble to get into position for that perfect shot. Getting into that pocket was difficult especially when trying to put an item into those organizational sleeves. And because of that is the reason why I had returned the pants. I believe if either the pocket zipper was longer to make it easier to lift and place the items into the sleeves would make it easier to access...or if the flap had one side that was sewn down vs both or have that pocket be a hook/loop flap.
I really liked the pants and wanted them to work but that was huge reason on why I had ordered the pants. The quietness of the zippers and the ease of access to the pockets. Everything else with the pants were great! If they still had the pants in coyote I would get them and since I purchased them for hunting, I could not justify paying for them and not being able to do what I wanted them to be used for.
I would go with the A9 Utility or Advanced Mission pants for the camo and hunting when it comes available. I already have the A9T in Manatee Gray and I like that pocket layout.
Overall, great pants, super comfortable, lightweight, and breathable!
