EXTREME COLD

-40° - 0° F

Extreme cold environments are usually dry and sunny. Wind resistance and insulation are generally a higher priority than protection from rain. Depending on whether your activity is more static or active, high-loft layers like an L7 may be required.

L7 - STATIC INSULATION (STATIC)

L7 - STATIC INSULATION

Once you're done adventuring around on foot, your core body temperature will begin to drop. It is important to retain as much heat as possible so once you become static (not moving around), pop on some L7s and keep yourself warm.
