Yes they are $500 bucks, let's just get that out of the way. Crazy expensive for a pair of pants though there are active discount codes out there, still $400 is a lot to pay for pants. But I will say I have the A9-A advanced mission pants, the rig softshell pants, crye g4's, and dead bird leaf and these are by far my favorite bar none. These pants have all the technical bells and whistles you could want but don't scream out "I'm tacticool look at me!*. Super comfortable and adjustable just like the advanced mission pants. The adjustable internal kneepads are one of the reasons I really like beyond pants (I really don't like external knee pads). Add to that, these are made in the USA and are about the highest quality you can buy anywhere and they were in stock so yeah they are expensive but will last me for many many years and I've come to terms with the cost of these high end military pants. So if you have the money I would say these are the best technical pants you can get and to just buy them.
I am a manufacture of high quality military clothing for films and actual service wear.
No detail has been overlooked.. multi bar-tacs on all stress areas! Best zips availible,
Reinforced waist band. Correct fabric. All and all there is no better trouser on the market! This company knows their business.
I cannot find anything to fault with this garment!!
I recently acquired a pair of these second hand in AOR2 and I have to say they are the best combat pants out hands down. Plenty of pocket space. Reinforced where they need to be. I love the zippered leg areas with the mesh. Great for keeping dry on long rucks.
I understand the actual “customer” of these may use them in a much more aggressive environment, but for my needs, these pants are the bee’s knees. Quality material throughout, extra rip protection where it’s needed, no stray threads or mucked up stitching. What initially drew me was the color, ie theyre tactical pants that don’t scream “tactical pants tactivate!” My use for them is camping in the spring and late summer/early fall in Michigan, and range use throughout the spring/summer/fall here in Michigan. They keep the legs relatively cool in the heat, and allowed me to get in the water and “drip dry” for even more cooling off. Ample pockets for carrying notebook, compass, phone, deck of cards, pocket knife, chemlight, bic lighter, and a hank of cordage. There’s no butt pockets, so you’ll have to find a new spot for your wallet, or just keep it in your bag, like I do. They also roll down into a fairly small roll, perfect for eking out every inch of space in your backpack. For the price, it doesn’t “seem” like you’re getting much, but they’re one of the only brands I know of that offers repair/replace warranty on manufacturing issues for a reasonable length of time. Strong, capable, and sure, these pants will almost always be rolled up in my bag if I’m going out the door for a trip.
