Received it just in time for the last cool days in New England. The fit and finish are perfect. The black/woodland looks great and I love that it gives me 2 looks to wear. Kept me warm and dry under some drizzle. Looking forward to fall so I can get it on again.
First off, the overall aesthetic is clean and smart. The jacket contours to your body without being constrictive and it wears well and is comfortable. Durability is a non issue as Beyond uses quality textiles and assembles them with the competency of a surgeon. The wrists cinch up with Velcro tabs and the hood has a pull tab in the back that forms the hood to your head without affecting peripheral vision which is helpful. No waist cinch but who cares it’s perfect with the elastic band sewn in. Fits good. Looks good. Durable and has great features. Oh and the DWR worked for about 8 minutes then began wetting out in a medium light rainfall. Dried quick while wearing in the rig. If you like Beyond and quality kit then waste no more time and get yourself something nice.
This jacket might replace my Atom LT by Arc’Teryx as my go-to for winter.
The Prima lochi is a great fit, not too loose and not too tight. Also in terms of warmth, it is great for both static and active insulation as long as the temperature doesn't dip below 20 degrees. Storage wise it is great, I was able to compress it into one of my small waterproof bags for a trip and helped save a lot of space in my ruck. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase, and am content that this is a truly great investment.
Minimalist feature, fully reversible, great colors. Appropriate for technical use, but looks good enough to wear casually too.
