Lightweight Next-to-Skin Performance
Build your day on a solid foundation with the K1 - Primus Pullover baselayer. Wool balanced with synthetic fibers delivers long-lasting durability, easy wash cycles, and the fast moisture transport your layering system needs. Flat seams ensure bulk-free layering, and thumbhole cuffs combine with a ½-zip front to offer adjustable warmth.
Our wool combines with synthetic fibers to create the ideal performance fusion for moisture management: wicking up and lifting out sweat, protecting against odors and wash shrinkage, increasing durability, and ensuring next-to-skin comfort. Your system’s moisture transport starts here.
Flat-seam construction ensures all-day comfort, delivering a smooth next-to-skin feel and reducing bulk when layering up.
Thumbhole cuffs extend coverage for warmer hands, and a 1/2 zip front helps shed extra heat in a hurry.

I purchased the K-1 Primus Pullover in November 2019 and have worn it biking through a Wisconsin winter. The pullover is well designed with long sleeves (great for biking), thumb holes, flat seams and a 1/2 zip front. One design feature that I do not find on other base layers is the high collar, which provides added warmth on very cold days. The fit is tight but this is not a casual shirt; the tight fit ensures proper moisture transfer and warmth.
K1 - Primus Pullover
Used the pullover/long johns as base layer during recent Mt Washington, NH climb, in temps around 15F and wind. This set worked great, kept me warm and dry, no chafing, just right. Thank you, Beyond, for another awesome product.
This is a great pullover. I think it will be one of those pieces of clothing that can be worn all year. It layers very nicely, and as a stand alone it can be worn from the mid 30s to 60s depending on your movement (my opinion).
Comfortable and warm first layer.
